Martha Faris Franks of Scottsboro, passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2026 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Martha was a Member of Central Baptist Church.
Martha is Survived by her Children, Donald (Doris) Franks, Brian Franks, Michael (Cindy) Franks, Grandchildren, Landon, Madison, and Preston Franks, and Several Nieces and Nephews. She is Preceded in death by her Husband, Charlie Franks, Parents, Louie Morris Grider and Alvie Ree “Cap” Grider, Brothers, Howard, Bobby, Charles Ray and Billy Ray Grider, Sisters, Adena Roberts, Lorine Grider, and Daughter-In-Law, Angie Franks. The family would like to give a Special Thanks to Heartlite Hospice for taking such great care of their loved one. Flowers and Donations are accepted.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 11, 2026 at Rudder Funeral Home Scottsboro from 11:00 AM- 1:00 PM with Funeral Services to follow in the Rudder Funeral Home Chapel beginning at 1:00 PM with Bro. Joel Shiflett officiating. Interment will follow in the Skyline Cemetery in Skyline, Alabama.
