Funeral Service for Martha Ellen Russell, age 78, of Cullman, will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Blankenship officiating; interment in Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. prior to the service.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Ms. Russell passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2022, at her residence. She was born February 16, 1944, to Samuel S. and Maudie L. Blair.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Madison Russell; parents; and brother, Jerry Blair.
Survivors include her son, William Paul Mote; grandchildren, William Cody Mote, George Dakota Mote, and Lisa Nicole Mote; great-grandchildren, Jessie A. Mote and Hudson Reed Mote; sisters, Mary Blair, Lois (Stanley) Jones, and Delora (Preston) Jones; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
