Mrs. Martha Anne Sewell Duck, age 83, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 in Booneville, Mississippi. She was born September 25, 1939 in McNairy County, Tennessee to the late Raymond and Glatis Smith Sewell. She retired after 33 years of teaching in the Shelby County School System. Mrs. Duck loved to read, was very artistic, and was the best cook. She loved her family dearly. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Charles E. Duck and two daughters, Leslie Anne Duck and Lee Anne Edwards. Survivors include her daughter, Lynne Anne Duck; one granddaughter, Grace Anne Kennedy (Chaz); and two great grandchildren, Margaret Elizabeth Gatewood and Silas Charles Kennedy.
Graveside services are scheduled for 1 PM, Saturday, October 29, 2022 at Lexington Cemetery. Pafford Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
