Martha Ann Tolbert, age 66 of Empire, passed away on April 2, 2020. She was a hard worker; a longtime employee of Gardendale Nursing Home. She loved kids and loved to crochet.
Graveside services will be held in New Horizon Memorial Gardens. Due to the current Covid 19 restrictions we will not be announcing any times.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Miranda Tolbert; sisters, Cathie David and Joann Busby Sarr.
Survivors include her daughters, Christy Washington (Barry) of Dora and Marie Tolbert (David), Amanda Michelle Tolbert (DeWayne) and Leeann Tolbert all of Empire; grandchildren, Anthony Washington (Nikki), Christian Stone (Colby), Dalton Tolbert, Jacob Smith, Saban Day, Kendall Day and Alexis Meissner; great grandchildren, Bryson Washington, Addilyn Cate Stone, Raelynn Washington, Annacyn Stone, Coleston Stone and Carson Washington; sisters, Dorothy Akins, Rita Busby Sarr and Beverly Willis and brother, Elbert Busby; son-in-law, Sidney Day; many other relatives and friends.
