Martha Ann Thomason Profile Photo It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Martha Ann Thomason, a beloved member of the Lewisburg community. Born on February 3, 1951, in Pulaski, TN, Martha sadly left us on March 30, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Martha was known for her passion for cooking and could often be found in the kitchen preparing delicious meals for those she cherished. She was an avid seamstress, creating beautiful blankets and quilts with care and creativity. Martha had a deep love for her family, finding joy in spending time them.

A member of East Commerce Baptist Church, Martha found comfort and community in her faith. She had a zest for life, enjoying watching wrestling matches, dancing, and reminiscing about her days as a CB radio enthusiast.

Martha was a proud Alabama and Elvis Presley fan, and she had a soft spot for children, always ready to share her love and warmth with those around her. Martha had a love for flowers, finding beauty and solace in their presence. Her fondness for nature’s wonders brought her peace and happiness.

Martha is preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Daisy Shelton Rowe; husband, William “Bill” August Thomason Sr.; brothers, Paul Rowe, Roy Rowe, Wayne Rowe, Dean Rowe, and Johnny Rowe; and sisters, Marie Carter, Mary Jo Dunnivant, and Orlean Foster. She is survived by her daughters, Judy Nelson, Patsy Staggs, and Cheryl Barrenger; brother, Wendell Rowe; sisters, Linda Dalton, Brenda Collins, Jean Jett, Nadine Ragsdale, and Carolyn Cooley; grandchildren, William Jones, Jessica Staggs, Taylor Albrecht, Rebecca Staggs, and Nevaeh Nelson; great grandchildren, Novaleigh Jones, Dixie Jones, Lewis Jones, Luca Staggs, and Knoxton Walker.

The visitation for Martha will be Thursday, April 4, 2024, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM and will resume Friday, April 5, 2024, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. The funeral service will begin at 11:00AM with burial following at Lone Oak Cemetery.
