Martha Ann Harmon, 87, of Paris, Mississippi, passed away Friday, October 2, 2026, at Sanctuary Hospice House. She was born May 7, 1939, in Water Valley, Mississippi.
Ann attended Taylor School and later worked for Kellwood and SWM before retiring in 2017. She was a faithful member of Paris Baptist Church. Ann enjoyed the simple things in life, especially working in her yard and mowing her grass. Above all, she loved her family dearly and treasured the time she spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, Jeff Harmon (Tonia); her daughter, Lucrecia Gates (Eddie); her grandchildren, Brendon Dickerson, Dani Harmon, Austin Harmon, Payne Harmon, Paul Gates, Justin Gates, Cody Gates, Kalob Gates, and Katelin Grose; and seven great-grandchildren.
Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Harmon; her parents, Lucille and Elton Jenkins; and her siblings, Betty Miller, Mae Davis, Dorothy McCracken, John Jenkins, Sonny Jenkins, and Bobby Jenkins.
Visitation will be Wednesday, October 7, 2026, from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. at Paris Baptist Church, with the funeral service immediately following at 2:00 p.m. Bro. Justin Gates will officiate. Burial will follow in Paris Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Tim Russell, Bud Daniels, Peanut Cofer, Jacob Mottz, Jarrett Broyles, and Martin Simmons.
