Mrs. Martha A. Gregory Martha Ann Gregory, was born on September 20, 1942 in Alamo, Tennessee to the late Addie Mae Dawson-Steward and Luther Steward. She transitioned on April 6, 2024.

She was a graduate of Central High School’s class of 1961 and briefly attended Lane College.

She was primarily a homemaker. However, she also worked for Lockheed Martin, was a substitute teacher in Norfolk, VA Public Schools, she was a Daycare Teacher at Nora Steward Daycare Center and a Teachers Aide for Alamo Public Schools, she served as a member on several committees and volunteered in different areas throughout her life.

She married the love of her life Flynoid “Flint” Gregory on July 30th 1964. He was a career Navy man, and she was a career Navy wife, always by his side, pushing, and supporting him to greater heights until his passing. Together they raised three sons. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, and reading.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Flynoid “Flint” Gregory, parents: Addie Mae Dawson-Steward and Luther Steward, grandparents: Jessie Twiddy and Ida Vaughn-Twiddy (Maternal) Charlie Steward and Verna Stewart (Paternal) and sister, Diane Harris.

She leaves to cherish her memory her sons: Victor (Avis Gregory) of Charlotte NC, Kenneth (Crystal Gregory) of Columbia MO and Michael Gregory of Las Vegas NV. In addition, she leaves behind, three grandchildren, Shanna Gregory and Tayler Gregory both of Columbia MO, and Xavier Gregory of Memphis TN, siblings: Napoleon Steward, Jimmie Mae Dawson, Floyd Steward, one great grand child Jayce Gregory of Columbia MO and countless other family members and friends.
