Marshall Holt, 76 of Huntsville, passed away peacefully on September 17, 2023, in Huntsville, Alabama. He was born on May 16, 1947, in Ardmore, Alabama. Marshall was known as a funny, friendly, and selfless person.
He was cherished by his loving family, including his wife of 51 years, Frances Holt; his children, Lori Holt, Adam & Stacey Holt, and Christy Terrell; his cherished grandchildren, Shelby Terrell, Hannah (Trey) Orr, Tyler (Savannah) Lowman, Mackenzie Lowman, Madison Lowman, Kayla Holt, and Dale Holt; and his devoted brother, Glen (Brenda) Holt. Marshall was preceded in death by his grandson, Brandon Terrell, great-grandson Maverick Meeks, his parents Bob & Mary Holt, his sisters: Elaine, Linda, Dolly, Wanda, and his brother, Raymond.
Marshall was a hard worker and had owned and operated Holt’s Home Repair for many years. His specialty was roofing, and he was known for quality work and honesty. With a reputation for taking great care of his customers, Marshall worked alongside his niece and nephew, Chelsea & Eric Monroe.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday beginning at Noon at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2pm at the funeral home with burial following in Charity Cemetery.
Marshall will be remembered for his love for his family, for his work-ethic, his generosity, and for being a good friend.
