Marshall Glen Thornton, 87, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, passed away on April 28, 2026. He
was born October 26, 1938, in Limestone County, Alabama, to Leonard Dean Thornton and
Christine Smith Thornton and was a longtime resident of Ardmore, Tennessee.
Marshall was an avid golfer and a fan of the University of Tennessee. He was known for his
dedication to his family and his community.
