Mr. Marshall Floyd James, 69, passed away, Sunday October 8, 2017 at his home. He was born in Palmer, Tennessee on August 4, 1948. He was a US Army Veteran.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gordon Lee James and Mother, Agnes Banks James; son, Travis James; granddaughter, Autum Faith James; sisters, Hallie Knight and Pollie Tucker; brothers, Clarence Allen, Tommy, Stanley and Alvin Lee James.
He is survived by his son, Richard James, Sparta, TN granddaughter, Alexandria James, Kingston, TN; great granddaughter, Addison Lee James; sister, Margaret Ward; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Minister and friend, Brett Meeks officiating with military honors provided by the Sequatchie Valley Honor Guard. Visitation: 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM Tuesday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tennessee. www.laynefuneralhome.com
