Marshall-Rogers-1447156466Marshall Everett Rogers, 89, of Waterloo, passed away, November 10, 2015 at home, after a twenty year battle with dementia.

Marshall was born December 25, 1925 in Waterloo, Alabama. He married his wife, Mary Lillian Rogers on May 3, 1945. He was a retired carpenter.

Mr. Rogers was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Etta Rogers; brothers, Jodi Rogers and Russell Rogers; sisters, Edna Smith, Cora Holcombe and Hazel Beard.

He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Mary Rogers; sons, Dennis (Susan) Rogers of Clovis, New Mexico, Michael (Vicki) Rogers of Elkhart, Indiana, Terry (Lynda) Rogers of Waterloo, Alabama; daughters, Patricia (Gene) Bohannan of Harvest, Alabama and Tammy (Jesse) Hunter of Town Creek, Alabama; 18 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.

The visitation will be Thursday, Nov. 12th from 6-8:00p.m at Morrison Funeral Home, Central Heights. The Funeral will be Friday, Nov. 13th at 1:00p.m in the funeral home chapel Interment will be at Murphy Chapel Cemetery. Grandsons will be pallbearers.
