Funeral service for Marshal Lee Goode, age 87, of Hillsboro, will be 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 30, 2026, at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mark Milwee officiating. Mr. Goode, who died Sunday, October 25, 2026, at his residence, was born May 26, 1939, in Alabama to Fred Goode and Annice Rose Goode. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Goode; parents; daughter-in-law, Beth Goode; five brothers, Ray Goode, James Goode, David Goode, Clifton Goode, and Shelby Goode; three sisters, Bessie Williams, Ruth Parker, and Joyce Goode; grandchild, Shelby Lee; great-grandchild, Vera Jo.
He is survived by his son, DeNeal Goode; daughter, Missy Goode (Mike); three grandchildren, Summer Goode (Chris), Justin McCary (Sara), and DeeKota Goode (Shelby); and seven great-grandchildren, Lochlan Scott, Stetson, Paizlee, Alayna, Alyssa, Aleah, and Dixie Anna.
Pallbearers will be Heath White, Ben White, Scotty Pearmen, Buck Williams, Earl Williams, and Barry White. Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Early, Dale Hill, Bro. Gene Fredricks, Lamar Meeks, and Michael “Hippie” Brantley.
