Marsha Lynn Woolridge, age 71, of Fayetteville, entered her eternal rest on August 28, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, creativity, and boundless care for those she loved. Born on September 2, 1954, in Fayetteville to the late Clarence E. and Sally Posey Beddingfield, Marsha graduated from Central High School in 1972, attended Anderson College, and later earned her associate degree from Motlow State Community College.

Marsha was a member of Harmony Hill Church of God. She found pure joy in the simple beauty of creation—whether she was tending to her beloved flowers, watching birds, listening to the radio, or capturing the world around her through her remarkable talent as an artist.

To her family, Marsha was affectionately known as the “best cook in Lincoln County.” Her kitchen was the heart of every family gathering, where she poured her love into hosting and preparing unforgettable meals for the people she cherished most. Her vibrant spirit, artistic soul, and nurturing embrace will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know and love her.

Survivors include her husband, Lee Woolridge; children, Jody Woolridge, Melissa Woolridge (Dennis) Meeks, Patricia Woolridge (Adam) Lucas; grandchildren, Leandra Woolridge, Bella Woolridge, and Raiden Meeks; siblings, Cathy (Marvin) Powell, Lisa Adams, Danny Beddingfield, Teddy (Dee) Beddingfield; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Graveside services will be held at Stewart Cemetery on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at 10:00 AM with Bro. Ennis Hyman and Bro. James Strope officiating. There will be no visitation prior to the graveside service.

Higgins Funeral Home is privileged to offer comfort, care, and support to the family of Marsha Lynn Woolridge.
