Mrs. Marsha Ann Farris Butler was born in Waynesboro, TN on January 08, 1959, to her parents the late Harold Farris and her surviving mother Mrs. Lou Catherine Brewer Farris. Mrs. Butler would spend her childhood being raised in the Waynesboro area surrounded by her family and friends and the beautiful scenery that she would grow to love. She graduated high school from Wayne County High the class of 1977 and later met the love of her life Mr. Roger Dale Butler and the two would make Waynesboro, TN their forever home raising their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord as she was a member of the Waynesboro Church of Christ. Mrs. Marsha wore many hats over the years, but she was most commonly known for her work in the cafeteria of the Wayne County School system and as a cook at the Countryside Nursing Home in Lawrenceburg, TN. She loved people but also nature and gardening in her flower garden and watching the seeds and bulbs she planted mature into beautiful flowers. Marsha also possessed a strong love for family as she enjoyed watching her children and grandchildren play softball and baseball rarely missing any games in which they played, always ready to cheer for her beloved family. Mrs. Marsha Ann Farris Butler passed from this life in Waynesboro, TN on February 07, 2025, making her stay upon this earth some 66 years and 30 days.
In addition to her mother she is survived by her husband Roger Dale Butler; daughter Ginda Brooks Butler and spouse Buck; step-son Bryan Butler and wife Andrea all of Waynesboro, TN; grandchildren Chrisian Scot Inman and wife Brianna, Emry -Elizabeth Tae Inman, Kora Bella Maye Coffman, Oliver Rydge Coffman, Colby Dylan Butler, Caroline Reeves and Chandler Ryan Butler as well as several nieces and nephews and many other family members, friends and loved ones.
In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her son Harold Keith Butler, daughter Kathy Ryan Butler, brother Jeff Farris, sister Cathy Talley and grandson William Ryan Keith Butler.
Memorial Services will be held Tuesday February 11, 2025 at 11:00 am at Bates-Love Funeral and Cremation, LLC chapel in Waynesboro with Cary Crews officiating.
Visitation with the family will begin Tuesday February 11, 2025 at 10:00 am at the Bates-love Funeral and Cremation, LLC chapel.
