Marlon T. Killion 82 of Albertville passed away Friday, April 5, 2024 at his residence.
Marlon was a native of Marshall County and a graduate of Douglas High School. He was married to his wife Martha for 62 years and had four children and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a licensed embalmer and funeral director and spent his professional career working with Carr Funeral Homes for over 40 years. He served the citizens of Marshall County as the Marshall County Coroner for 18 years. After retirement, he enjoyed spending time with his wife and family. He passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family, his greatest blessings.
His Funeral Service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at Albertville Memorial Chapel with burial to follow at White Oak Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday evening from 6 until 9 at the funeral home and 12:30 until service time on Tuesday. Bro. Glenn Pankey, Bro. Aaron Johnson and Bro. Brent Roe will be officiating. Pallbearers will be Mike McCormack, Blake Farmer, Ryan Killion, Sam Sheets, Jake Killion and Jesse Mulkey, Honorary Pallbearers; Gerald Richey and Bart Kirtland.
