Funeral Services for Mr. Mark Junior Patterson, age 56 of Lineville, were held on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville at 2:00 P.M. with pastor Kevin Acre officiating. Burial will take place at Greens Chapel Church Cemetery in Heflin.
Mr. Patterson passed away on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at his home. Mark was born in Ashland and one of five brothers. He spent most of his life here in East Alabama and loved Alabama Football. Mark was a family man and always worked hard to provide for them, spending the last several years at Madix.
He is survived by his wife, Nona Baker; his mother, Elois Green Patterson; his children: Mark Dewayne Patterson, David Junior Patterson (Jennifer Kendrick), Kenneth Dale Patterson, Donna Marie Patterson, Shelly Ann Wilbanks, and April Nicole Lay; four brothers: Earl Bryant (Sheila), Tony Bryant (Debra), Jerry Patterson, and Ronnie Patterson; many nieces, nephews, extended family, and several close friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, Junior Patterson and his uncle, Elbert Green.
Active Pallbearers will be Everett Pauley, Jerry Lee “JJ” Patterson, Jr., James Hickman, Michael Mobus, Allen Hill, and Rodney Hill.
