Mark Jacob Jones, age 48 of Athens, AL passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at Athens Limestone Hospital. Mr. Jones was born on July 3, 1969 in Benton, KY to Tony and Marlene Jones.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Arica Jones.
Mr. Jones is survived by his daughter, Abby Jones of Athens, AL; mother and father, Marlene Jones and Tony Jones of Athens, AL; sister, Tonia Turner (John) of Florence, AL and mother-in-law, Julia Tolbert of Athens, AL.
There will be a graveside service 1:00PM Saturday, August 12, 2017 at Limestone Memorial Gardens with Danny Jones officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00-12:30 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
