Mark DeWayne Cottingham, 44, of Florence, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Friday, April 26, 2013.
Visitation will be 1-3 p.m. Monday, April 29, at Spry-Williams Funeral Home, Florence. The funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Brother Greg Reynolds officiating. Burial will be in Jessie’s Garden, Rogers Chapel.
Mr. Cottingham was a U.S. Air Force veteran.
He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Dee Cottingham; maternal grandparents, Rose and Leamon Holt and Clifton Taylor; paternal grandparents, Jimmy and Lucille Cottingham.
Survivors include his mother, Rose Goins; children, Justin and Jordan Hogan; sisters, Melisa Vickery (Jack), Michelle Durham, and Angela Rikard (Andrew); brother, Trahe Nesbitt (Jacelyn); nieces, Malynda, Jacklyn, Dru, Lily Rose and Maggie Grace; nephews, Gaige, Tyler, Zakery and Alex; and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Matthew “Boogie” Roberts, Kenny Roberts, Robert York, Glen Ditto, Stacey Pitt and Tommy Rutherford. Honorary pallbearers will Gaige Nesbitt, Clay Carroll and Tyler Murdock.
