Marjorie Sandlin Hays age 84 of Athens, passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2015 at her residence. She was born on August 4, 1930 to James and Luvicie Sandlin.
Services will be Wednesday, July 15, 2015 2:00 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Robert Hall officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Limestone Memorial Gardens.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Frank Hays, brother, Bill Sandlin; sisters, Frances Fultz and Carolyn Holliday.
She is survived by her son, Marc Hays (Mary Beth); daughters, Beth Herron (Larry) and Lori Adams (Greg); grandchildren, Justin Hays (Krystal), Jordan Hays, Lindsey Clinard (Chris), Ryan Herron (Amy), Blake Adams and Kaylin Adams; brothers, Nick Sandlin, Joe Sandlin, Larry Sandlin, and Jerry Sandlin; sisters, Martha Ann Young and Judy Norton Browning; 7 great-grandchildren.
She was retired from Monsanto and Limestone County School System. She was a lifelong member of Tanner Church of Christ.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Limestone County.
