Marjorie Pedigo went home to her lord on July 25, 2014 at the age of 85. She was married to the love of her life for 53 years, Mr. Norvel Jackson Pedigo.
She is preceded in death by her husband Norvel Jackson Pedigo, parents Martha and Denton Holland, and brothers James and Tommy Holland.
She is survived by her two sons, Jackie and Johnnie Pedigo, three granddaughters; Tina Pedigo Brooks, Kristie Pedigo Shankles, and Kimberly Pedigo Poteete, and eight great grand children.
Marjorie attended the Scottsboro Free Holiness Church. She rarely missed the opportunity with her brothers and sisters in Christ to worship her lord. Dementia robbed her of her memory and most of her ability to communicate, but it never robbed her of her love for her lord, her family, and her church.
Visitation will be held from 4:00pm until 9:00pm at the Scottsboro Holiness Church on Sunday, July 27, 2014. Visitation will also be two hours prior to the funeral which begins at 2:00pm on Monday, July 28, 2014 at the Scottsboro Free Holiness Church. Burial will follow the service at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Scottsboro, Alabama.
The family wants to express to the staff at Scottsboro Nursing Home and the Scottsboro Hospital for the great job they did in keeping Mrs. Pedigo comfortable during her last days.
