Marjorie Jones Ball Marjorie Jones Ball of Pulaski passed away peacefully at the home in which she was born in Pulaski on Wednesday, August 19, 2020. She was born on June 5, 1919 and was 101 years old.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church since 1931. She volunteered at Matthew 25 for many years and was a Pink Lady at Hillside Hospital for 36 years. Marjorie volunteered at Giles County Historical Society at the Giles County Library. She had a very unique personality and will be missed by all who knew her.
Service will be 11:00am Friday, August 21st, 2020, in the Chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home.
The burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery.
Memorial donations are suggested to the First United Methodist Church or the Blooming Grove Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years Edgar Thomas Ball, Jr. Her parents, Ernest Alive and Lady Dimple Butler Jones. Her brothers, Henry Butler Jones and Ernest Edward Jones. Inlaws, Andrew David and Nell Stevenson Ball.
She is survived by;
Son, Edgar Thomas “Tom” (Mary Lou) Ball of Nashville.
Grandsons, Thomas Jason Ball and Jeffery L. (Greta) Ball.
Great-granddaughters Amelia and Adelyn.
Son, David Michael (Rebecca Barnett) Ball.
Grandchildren, Luke and Andrea.
Brother William Grant Jones of Pulaski.
