Funeral service for Marjorie Fletcher Darby of Athens, Alabama will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Antioch Cumberland Presbyterian Church in America (923 Brownsferry Street, Athens, Alabama, 35611) with Pastor Robert Rice officiating. The body will lie in state from 10:00 a.m. until funeral time. Interment and committal will be at Thatch Mann cemetery.
On Friday, December 12, 2025, public viewing will be from 12:00 noon until 5:00 p.m. and visitation from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Peoples Funeral Home.
