Marissa Michele Baugher age 26 of Athens and her unborn son Micah, passed away Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at Huntsville Hospital. Mrs. Baugher was born December 10, 1986 in Morristown, New Jersey to Matthew Wharton and MaryAnn Mitroka Wharton.
Services will be Saturday, September 28, 2013 3:30 p.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Brian Mayfield officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, from 2:00 p.m. until 3:15 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
Marissa worked as the office manager at The Enrichment Center Group in Decatur, AL. She had a heart of compassion and was dedicated to making a difference in the lives of the others. She served as a worship leader at The Brook in Madison, AL.
Survived by her husband, Matthew Baugher of Athens; daughter, Maleia Love Baugher of Athens; mother, MaryAnn Wharton; father, Matt Wharton both of Harvest, AL; grandmother, Shirley Wharton of Georgia; father and mother-in-law, Tommy and Barbara Baugher of Athens.
