Judy Auvene Collins age 71 of Athens, passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2013 at Madison Hospital. Ms. Collins was born January 19, 1942 in Limestone County to Andrew Jackson and Virginia Webster Jackson.
Services for Ms. Collins are Sunday, September 29, 2013 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be Saturday, September 28, 2013 from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery with James Oliver officiating.
She was a member of the Majestic Chapel.
She is survived by her daughters, Kimberly Webster and husband Michael; son, Ricky Collins and wife Deborah; grandchildren, Heather Webster, Jessica Webster, Kenny Brizendine and Rikki Brizendine; great-grandchild, Hayward Brizendine; brother, Winston Jackson and wife Marjorie; sister, Kathleen Jewell; several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Virginia Jackson; husband Morris Lynn Collins.
Pallbearers are Morris Jewell, Don Jewell, Winston Jackson, Jr., Tony Collins, Nick Smith and Bobby Barnes.
