Marion Cecilia Greenwell age 79 of Huntsville, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2017 at Falkville Nursing Home. She was born February 6, 1937 to Cecil and Cecilia Grossman in Pennsylvania. Mrs. Greenwell was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
Mrs. Greenwell is survived by her sons: C. Wade (Kelly) Riess of Pennsylvania and George Riess of Florida; daughters: Toni (Garry) Freeman of Huntsville, AL and Beth Ann (Keith) Higginbotham of Pennsylvania; brother: Cecil Grossman of Pennsylvania; sisters: Jean (John) Grossman Wojcicki of Florida and Virginia Wygonik of Florida; grandchildren: Heather (Jon) Moore, Nicole Higginbotham, Keith Higginbotham, Charles Riess, Laken Riess, Hunter (Amber) Riess, Matthew Riess, Ashley Freeman, Brandi Freeman, William Freeman, Christina Freeman, Tucker Freeman and Brady Freeman; and great grandchildren: Kirra Riess and Nathan Ammons. She was preceded in death by her brother: Tom Grossman.
Funeral Mass will be Thursday, January 19, 2017 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church at 10:00 AM with Father Michael MacMahon officiating. Burial will be in Hampton Cove Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 18 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
