Marinda Sue Simpson, 74, of Florence passed away Tuesday March 24, 2015. She was a native of Colbert County, a member of Petersville Church of Christ, and a retired nurse.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday March 26, 2015 at Petersville Church of Christ. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday March 27, 2015 at Petersville Church of Christ, with Jim Goldy officiating. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Park.
Sue was preceded in death by her husband, William M. Simpson Sr. and father, Nelson O. Hester.
Survivors are her children, William M. (Bill) Simpson Jr. and Marinda Collins (Kenny);
grandchildren, Heather Collins, Heath Collins, Ashley McGee, Christopher Simpson and Whitnee White; great grandchildren, Chandler and Colin Woodruff, Brooke Raines, Koby Collins and Liliana McGee; mother, Christine Hester and sister, Lou Meadows Driggers (Max).
Active Pallbearers will be Jason Meadows, Ralph Richey, Chandler and Colin Woodruff, David Simpson, Jim Simpson and Everett Holcombe.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Henson and Kenny Collins
