Funeral services for Marilynn Orr Robertson, 85 of Corinth are set for Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at 11:00am at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with interment in Magnolia Gardens. Visitation will be Monday, July 1, 2019 from 5:00pm-8:00pm and Tuesday, July 2, 2019 from 10:00am until 11:00am at Magnolia Funeral Home. Born May 29, 1934 in Corinth, MS. Marilynn passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2019 at her home in Corinth. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church. Marilynn was a talented quilter and won many ribbons and awards for her quilting. She was awarded a certificate for One of Mississippi’s Outstanding Quilters of 2018. She was a member of the Cross City Piece Makers Quilt Guild and the Needle Chasers Quilt Guild. Marilynn was an avid Atlanta Braves fan. She is survived by her son, Jerry Lee Robertson and wife Kaye of Corinth; daughter, Judy Robertson Crider and husband Billy of Corinth; 6 grandchildren, Brandon Robertson and wife Jessica, Blake Robertson, Brittney Robertson Terry and husband Jeremy, Kelly Hill and husband Chad, Kyle Crider and Paul Crider; 7 great grandchildren, Reece Robertson, Riley Robertson, J.B. Terry, Mattie Kayte Robertson, Kaylynn Hill, Karalynn Hill and Kielynn Hill; sister, Jean Orr Jones of Corinth; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Joe B.”J. B.” Robertson; father, Corney E. Orr; mother, Edith Dickey Orr; brother, James Robert “Buddy” Orr and sister, Carolyn Pittman. Pallbearers will be Todd Ross, Brandon Robertson, Blake Robertson, Kyle Crider, Jeremy Terry and Chad Hill. Bro. Trey Lambert and Bro. Charles Stephenson will officiate the service.
