Marilyn Williams Gill, 87, of Huntsville, passed away Friday. She was born to the late John Raymond Williams and Annie Thelma Williams.
Marilyn graduated from Trevecca Nazarene College and Peabody College and served as an elementary school teacher in Tennessee and Alabama for multiple decades. She was an active member in her church and social organizations in Huntsville.
She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Eugene Mastin Gill, and is survived by her son, Eugene Mastin Gill, Jr.; and granddaughters; Caroline Oakley Gill and Campbell Meredith Gill of Birmingham, AL.
A woman of unquestioned class, dignity, and grace, Marilyn is now reunited with the sole love of her life during her years on earth and with other family members.
The family wishes to thank all who sent cards and well-wishes during the last months of her life. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Laughlin Service Funeral Home.
