Graveside services for Mrs. Marilyn Maitland, age 85, will be held on Tuesday May 18, 2021 at 1 pm in Oakland Cemetery in Trenton, TN with Brent Smith officiating. Visitation with the family will be on Monday May 17, 2021 starting at 5 pm until 8 pm in the chapel of Shelton Funeral Home in Trenton, TN.
Mrs. Maitland was born in Gibson Co. on January 3, 1936.
Mrs. Maitland a dedicated member of the Trenton Church of Christ and a retired teachers aide with the Trenton Special School District . Mrs. Maitland loved her family and supported each of them throughout their lives in so many ways ,passed away on Friday May 14 2021.
Mrs. Maitland was preceded in death by her parents William and Jimmie (Gibson) Taylor; a sister Elaine Walls; and a grandson Greyson Maitland.
Mrs. Maitland is survived by: her husband of over 66 years Jerry Maitland; three sons Marty Maitland and Mike Maitland both of Nashville, TN and Joey Maitland of Jackson, TN; two sisters Debbie Joyce and Evelyn Adams of Trenton, TN; and four grandchildren Jason , Trey, Conner and Taylor Maitland.
