Marilyn Louise FarrisMarilyn Louise Farris, age 64 of Decherd, passed from this earthly life onto Gloryland to meet our Savior, Jesus Christ on June 14, 2021. She was surrounded by her husband and children as she drew her last breath. Do not weep and mourn for her, for she has gone onward to Beulah Land. “What a day that will be when my Jesus I shall see, when I look upon His Face, the One who saved me by His grace. And when He takes me by the hand and leads me to that Promised Land, what a day, glorious day that will be.” Our wonderful Lord bestowed mercy upon her so that she suffered no longer. She was preceded in death by her mother, Edna Smith; father, Albert Holliday; adopted father, J.C. Perry; and brothers, James Cambron and Albert Perry. Marilyn is survived by her loving husband of forty-six years, Mack Farris; sons, Cary Farris and Caleb Farris(Stacy Farris); daughter, Caren Kendall (Tarl Kendall); and her seven grandchildren, Faith, Eliza, Jude, Clay, Lily, Ally, and Layla Jane. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and above all…a servant of Jesus Christ. Rejoice with us as we commemorate her life here with us and as she meets Jesus face to face as He leads her to a place of rest where there is no sorrow and no more pain. “Oh! Until we meet again around God’s throne!” No formal services are planned at this time. Moore-Cortner Funeral Home, 300 First Ave NW, Winchester, TN 37398, (931)-967-2222
