Marilyn Arlene Eastwood, age 81 of Winchester, passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at her residence. She was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan on August 3, 1944, to the late John and Arlene (Burington) Chase. Until she was no longer able, Marilyn was a nursery assistant in the nursery at Winchester Cumberland Presbyterian Church, where she was also a dedicated member. She was very private, but also a social butterfly. She enjoyed playing Bingo or going to yard sales with family and friends. A loving and generous woman, she would give the shirt off of her back to anyone in need. She was a wonderful, devoted mother and will be dearly missed by her loving children. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Leon Chase and Charles Chase. Marilyn is survived by her loving children, Cindy (Hugh) Orr and Michael (Denise) Eastwood; grandchildren, Eric Evanich, Caryssa Courtney, Hugh (Stormi) Orr II, Amanda (Doug) Joshway, Tabatha Eastwood, Mikalene (Nicholas) Alfano, and Steven (Taylor) Scheler; and great-grandchildren, Stevie Scheler, Jesse Scheler, and Kori Scheler. Visitation will be from 12-2pm on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 2:00pm. Interment will be at Estill Springs Cemetery.
