A Celebration of Life Service for Marie Stutts McMeans 94 is set for 11:00 am Monday, February 21, 2022 at Oak Hill Christian Church with Bro. Frank Williams officiating and Michael McMeans doing the eulogy. Burial will follow in the Oak Hill Christina Church Cemetery.

Marie died Friday, February 18, 2022 at the home of her son. She was born May 2, 1927 in Tippah Co. MS. to the late William Edgar Stutts and Lala Champion Stutts. She was a long time member of Oak Hill Christian Church. She worked as manager for the local Shell Gas station for many years but most of all, she and her late husband Charles where the owners of the Redwood Hut in Pickwick for many years. She enjoyed reading her bible, going to church, watching TV, eating Mexican food and spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. McMeans; parents, son, Jerry McMeans, daughter, Brenda McMeans; sisters, Levell Willis, Mary Yeakley; brothers, J. T. Stutts, Chester Stutts.

She is survived by her sons, Danny McMeans (Carolyn), Donnie McMeans (Debbie); grandchildren, Darren McMeans, Michael McMeans, Shelly McMeans, Jay McMeans, Tracy McMeans, Chassidy Williams; great grandchildren, Jacey, Dana, Erin, Tristin Breanna, Dylan ; great great grandchildren. Wiley, Kiren and Isabella; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Family will receive friends Monday from 10:00 am to service time at the Oak Hill Christian Church.
