Mrs. Marie Starley Porter, age 91 of Trinity, AL. passed away Saturday March 4, 2017. Funeral services will be Monday March 6, 2017 at 11 A.M. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel Rev Richie Thompson officiating with family receiving friends from 10 til 11 Monday, Graveside services will be Wednesday March 8, 2017 at 11 AM ET in North View Cemetery in Dublin GA.
Mrs Porter was born June 6, 1925 in Laurens Co. GA to Mark Starley and Annie Davis Starley.
Mrs Porter is survived by one son Don Porter (Melissa) of Manchester TN. One Daughter Sherry Jordan (Glen) of Trinity, Al. Six Grandchildren and twelve great Grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Jack Porter,son Ellis Porter and seven brothers.
In lieu of flowers memorials may made to Trinity Baptist Church or Highland Baptist church in Tullahoma TN.
