Marie Odell Pugh Silas 93 Winfield, Alabama born December 14, 1925, in Guin, Marion County, Alabama to the late William Riley Pugh and Dealiy Bryan Pugh. Died Sunday, May 12, 2019, at Diversacare of Winfield, Winfield, Alabama.
She is the widow of William Arnold Silas. Marie was born on December 14,1925 in Guin, AL a daughter of William
Riley Pugh and Dealiy Bryan Pugh. She was a resident of Guin until 1974 when her home was destroyed by a tornado after
which she moved to Winfield. She retired from Munsingwear after thirty-one years of service. After retiring she worked at
Jacks for a short time and in the Northwest Medical Center Cafeteria for over ten years. She was a member of Winfield
First Baptist Church. She enjoyed working in her flower beds and loved spending time with her granddaughter, Alicia.
Visitation: 1:00 – 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 17, 2019, at Miles Funeral Home of Winfield, Alabama.
Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 17, following visitation, the McGraw Memorial Chapel of Miles Funeral Home,
Burial: Guin City Cemetery, Guin, Marion County, AL.
