Mrs. Marie Landers Morse, 89, of Muscle Shoals, Alabama, passed away Saturday, July 1, 2017, at Cypress Cove Health Center. A native of Franklin County, she lived there most of her life and was a member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Before retirement, she was a cosmetologist.
Visitation for Mrs. Morse will be Wednesday, July 5, 2017; from 11:00 A.M. until 12:00 noon at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church with services to follow at noon with Venlon Bradford officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
Survivors include a brother, Robert Landers, and sisters, Delsene Berry, Alice Frye, and Gwendolyn Anderson. Nieces, nephews and friends also survive her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lyle Jr. Morse; parents, Ben and Estelle Yocom Landers; and siblings, Margie Spurgeon, Kathleen Parr, Majoria Hill, Louise Sanders, H.B., Leo, J.M., and Bobby Landers.
