Edith Marie Bouldin  Marie Bouldin, 90, of Boaz, Alabama, passed away on April 29, 2026.
Marie was born on October 22, 1935, in Sardis, Alabama, to Lewis and Mamie Oliver. She grew up in the Rockledge community and graduated from Sardis High School. Marie married her beloved husband, George Fate Bouldin, on June 3, 1953, and shared their first years of marriage in Fort Lee, VA and Ft. Wayne, IN during which time they started a family. They returned to a forty-acre farm in Aroney, Alabama to raise their two sons and daughter where they shared many wonderful memories working on the farm, worshiping at Liberty Baptist Church, and supporting their children in school activities. Later in life they traveled and continued to serve at Liberty Church where Marie played the piano and organ for over 60 years. In addition to being a talented musician, she enjoyed sharing time with family and friends as well as helping care for others.
Marie is survived by three children Kent (Linda) Bouldin, Elton (Sue) Bouldin and Julia Harden. She is survived by seven loving grandchildren, Carmen (Charles) Hall, Luke Bouldin, Lindsey (Dean) Vickers, Lee (Rebecca) Bouldin, Jesse ( Hannah)Bouldin, Matthew Harden, and Dillion Harden. Marie enjoyed spending time with her great-grandchildren, Ty Bouldin, Levi Bouldin, Abigail Bouldin, Benjamin Bouldin, Susanna Bouldin, Clara Vickers, Jackson Vickers and Lettie Bouldin. Marie is also survived by her beloved sister, Venice White. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fate Bouldin; parents, Lewis and Mamie Oliver; brother, Robert Oliver; and brother, Dennis Oliver.
Serving as ball bearers are Luke Bouldin, Lee Bouldin, Jesse Bouldin, Dean Vickers, Matthew Harden, and Dillon Harden. A private family memorial service will be held on Monday, May 4th with burial following at the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, PO Box 338, Crossville, Al 35962, reflecting Marie’s commitment of continued service to her beloved church family.
Marie will be remembered for a life-long devotion to her family and years of an unfailing commitment to leading others in praising and worshiping her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She leaves a legacy of devotion and enduring worship to family and friends.
