Marian Ellen Fosnight, age 94 of Bodenham, passed away Sunday February 12, 2023 at Crockett Hospital in Lawrenceburg.
Marian was born January 26, 1929 in Decatur, IL to John Henry and Viola Catherine Johnson Ryder. She was a former manager of Green Valley Market, member of Choates Creek United Methodist Church, member and officer of the Bodenham Community Women’s Club, was a former volunteer of Meals on Wheels and a volunteer at Hillside Hospital. Marian was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Roy Fosnight, and siblings Mae, Jack, Don, Tootie, Lorraine, Maxine, Herb, Howard, Betty, and Jim.
Visitation will be Friday February 17, 2023 from 6-8pm at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home. Funeral will be 2pm Saturday February 18, 2023 at Choates Creek United Methodist Church with interment to follow in Choates Creek Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Choates Creek Cemetery Fund and/or the Bodenham Community Women’s Club.
Survivors include her son Roy Fosnight, Jr. and wife Anita of Harvest, daughters Alice Chapman and husband Michael of Madison, Al., Shelia Hargrove of Bodenham, Sandra Nrwood and husband Jeral of Madison, Al., sister Erma Flanagan of Bodenham.
