Marian Dale Moore, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on June 5, 2026, in Huntsville, Alabama, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories that will live on in all who knew her.
Born on December 5, 1960, in Atlanta, Georgia, Dale was known for her warm heart, gentle spirit, and the way she made others feel welcome and cared for. She had a special ability to bring people together, creating meaningful moments and lasting connections with family and friends. An avid reader, she found great joy in books and storytelling and loved to scrapbook, preserving treasured memories for her family to enjoy for generations. She also loved animals and had a big heart for all of them, especially her beloved dogs, Bitty and Beau.
Through her laughter, strength, and quiet acts of love, Dale touched many lives and will be deeply missed.
She was a devoted member of Decatur Presbyterian Church in Decatur, Alabama, for over 30 years, where her faith and fellowship were a significant part of her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Janie Yarbrough Dykes and Dewey Boncil Dykes, Jr., and her beloved husband, Stanley Harold Moore.
Dale is survived by her children: Sean (David), Matthew, and Caitlin; and her cherished grandchildren, Emily and Evelyn, who lovingly knew her as “Honey.”
Dale will be remembered for her devotion to her family, her resilient spirit, and her unwavering compassion. Her presence brought comfort and joy to those around her, and her memory will be treasured always.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Decatur Presbyterian Church, 2306 Modaus Rd SW Decatur, Alabama 35603, on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at11:00 AM.
Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate Dale’s life, sharing memories and honoring her legacy.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the American Diabetes Association in Dale’s memory.
