Memorial services for Mrs. Maria Pilar “Pili” Grissom, age 55, are scheduled for 5 PM, Thursday, June 30, 2016 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington. Mrs. Grissom passed away Sunday in Jackson. She was born October 10, 1960 in Alcala de Henares, Spain to the late Cesario Navarro Sanz and Benita Berlinches Barranco. She was a homemaker and loved Madrid Soccer and Spanish National Team. She was an amazing cook and enjoyed her grandchildren and all of their activities. She also enjoyed discussions and arguments and traveling back to Spain. She is survived by her husband, Mr. Joel Grissom of Lexington; her son, Cesar Grissom of Lexington; two step-sons, Chris Grissom (Marta) of Culpepper, VA and Michael Grissom (Susan) of Ashburn, VA; two daughters, Sandra Premo (Brad) of Nashville and Michelle Vernon (Brian) of Bartlett; 9 siblings; and five grandchildren, Mikey Grissom, C J Grissom, Justin Vernon, Alex Vernon, and Isabel Premo.
