Maria Christina Brooks was born April 18, 1965 in Somerville, TN. She departed this life on October 14, 2018 in Ramer, Tennessee at the age of 53 Years, 5 Months, 26 Days.
She was a 1983 graduate of McNairy Central High School. She had worked for 10 years as a Warehouse Supervisor for Monogram Refrigeration. Maria got a degree from Jackson State. She was a very good cook. She enjoyed horses, flowers, garden, nature, reading and spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her companion, Marlin Taylor of Ramer, TN; son, David Brooks; father, Willie “Bill” Hunter of Selmer, TN; sister, Sherri Hunter all of Selmer, TN; special aunt, Susan Wech of Laconia, TN; many other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Maria was preceded in death by her mother, Ellen Faye Boykin Hunter.
