Margurite Manley – Obituary

Margurite Manley, 85, died Thursday, May 14, 2015, at her granddaughter’s home. She was a member of Happy Valley Baptist Church since 1950 and a lifelong resident of Lauderdale County. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and friend.
Visitation will be Saturday from 2-4 p.m. at Rogersville Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow immediately in the chapel, with David Lash and Chris Joiner officiating. Burial will be in Civitan Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Cody Roberts, Rusty Roberts, De Wayne Roberts, Dan Dare, Clint Howard and Joe Clemons. Honorary pallbearers will be Greg, Cody, Chris and Austin Manley.
Mrs. Manley was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Ada Gautney McNairy; husband, Lee Roy Manley; stepfather, Toxie Gautney; brother, Pat McNairy; son-in-law, Rusty Roberts Sr.; great-grandson, Craig Manley; and daughter, Brenda Manley Roberts.
She is survived by her son, Roy (Brenda) Manley; stepson, Roger (Vicky) Manley; caregiver, Christy (Phillip) Brewer; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
