Mrs. Margie Ruth Wooten, age 79 of Gadsden, passed away Saturday, February 11, 2023. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 13, 2023 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Adams Brown Service Funeral Home, with Brother Mark Williams officiating. The family will receive friends and loved ones at 1:00 pm till the time of service.
Mrs. Wooten is survived by her husband John Wooten; daughters Penny Ellis (Jerry), Ann Banks (Tiger), Becky Roberts; Lovietta Williams (Dewey), and Susie Southerland (Rudy); sons Yancy Baugh )Nana), Daniel Baugh (Lisa), Ronnie Baugh (Nicci), James Wooten (Charlene), Ricky Williams, and Mark Williams (Ginger); 42 grandchildren; 66 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; and daughter-in-law Pam Baugh.
She was preceded in death by her parents Willie and Mollie Daugette; daughter Hope Lou Allen; son Tommy Baugh; sisters Nell Daniels, and Virgie Orr; brothers Buster Daugette, Fred Daugette, Roy Daugette, and Jerry Daugette; and grandson Jeremy Baugh.
