Funeral service for Margie Nell Laney, 80, of Hanceville will be at 1 p.m., Monday, January 24th, 2022 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Mt. Vernon West Congregational Methodist Church, Rev. Steve Rodgers officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 12-1 p.m. on Monday.

Mrs. Laney passed away Friday, January 21st, 2022 at Hanceville Nursing Home. She was born May 15, 1941 to Athel Alton & Iown Willingham Guthery. She loved her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son-in-law, Bobby Mattox; brother-in-law, Jim Albright.
Survivors include her sons, Dumont Laney, Ronald (Linda) Laney; daughters, Janola (John) Mitchell, Cloressia Mattox; grandchildren, Justin (Rachel) Mitchell, Denzel Mattox, Brett (Katie) Mitchell, Ethan (Kami) Mitchell, Jessica Ferguson; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Sue Albright; family and friends.
