Margie Manley Wilkinson, age 70, passed away Monday, November 15, 2021, in Jackson. Mrs. Wilkinson, the widow of Harold “Harry” Wilkinson, was born August 28, 1951, in Lexington, to the late Tom and Hazel Odell Manley. She was a retired wire transfer/accounting clerk at FirstBank. Mrs. Wilkinson loved spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren and going to their activities, travelling, and socializing with people. She is survived by a son, Marty Wilkinson (Felecia); a sister, Ann Beecham; a nephew, Brandon Beecham (Ashley); brother-in-law, Allen Wilkinson (Karen), sister-in-law Wanda Wilkinson; and two grandchildren, Preston Gates and Parker Wilkinson. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a grandchild, Peyton Gates.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 18, in the Chapel of Pafford Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Independence Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until time for the service. In lieu of flowers, you may make donations to the American Cancer Society.
