Margie Elvine Adams, age 80 of Athens, passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2019 at her residence. She was born June 3, 1939 in Lauderdale County to Percy Davis and Comilla Adams.
Funeral services for Mrs. Adams will be held Thursday, October 24, 2019 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. with Paul Sain and Lendale Long officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 23, 2019 from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Dement Cemetery.
She is survived by her children, Dwight Adams, Deborah Ehrenburg, Sandra Yancey (Tim), Mikel Adams (Serena), Minie Newman, Michelle Turner (Eric), Kimberly Gist (Glen), Lloyd Adams (Teresa), Monica Bennett (Chris) and Norman Adams (Amanda); 34 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; sisters, Geneva Glover, Aggie Glover and Pam Reyer.
Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Alvin Adams; son, Keith Adams; 3 heavenly children; 7 heavenly grandchildren; 3 sisters; 1 brother.
