A Memorial service for Margarue Owen Garner, 87, will be Sunday, February 19, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Doug Wells officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. No visitation is scheduled.
Mrs. Garner died on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at the Folsom Center in Cullman. She was born November 5, 1935, in Morgan County to Alton Glen Owen and Jessie McKay Owen.
She worked at the Social Security Administration of Morgan County for a number of years and she and her husband served the community of Hartselle with their fruit stand business for many years as well. She was also a member of Hartselle’s First United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband: James “Jack” Garner, her brother: George Owen, and her daughter: Sharon Horton Woodruff and her parents.

One Granddaughter – Jessica Murray and her husband, Phillip of Hayden, AL
In lieu of flowers: Family requests donations be made to the Glenn Horton Memorial Scholarship Fund at Wallace State Community College.
