Margarett Wunner, age 88, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Monday, May 26, 2025, at Southern TN Regional Health System in Lawrenceburg, TN. She was a native of Lawrenceburg, TN, retired from Kaye’s Country Store, a homemaker, and a member of Pulaski Street Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Mildred Luna Lopp; her husband, Robert H. “Bobby” Wunner; one sister, Mary “Tootsie” Pennington Williams; and one brother, Edd Lopp, Sr.
She is survived by two sons, Bobby A. Wunner (Debbie) of Shelbyville, TN and Tony W. Wunner (Shelia) of Lawrenceburg, TN; five grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; seven step-great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; eight step-great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, George Lopp (Daphy) of Lawrenceburg, TN and Thomas Lopp (Kathy) of Royal Oak, MI; several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, May 29, 2025, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Friday, May 30, 2025, with Jacob Evans officiating. Interment will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN. The family suggests memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
