The family will hold a memorial service for Margaret V. Branson, 67, on Monday, April 16, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Harmony Grove Church on Kirby Bridge Road.
Mrs. Branson, who died Sunday, April 8, 2018 at Decatur Morgan Hospital, was born December 21, 1950, in Morgan County to Henry Ford Adams and Dorothy Fowler Adams. She was employed at McDonald’s prior to her retirement. She was a member of the Harmony Grove Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Ford Lemarr Adams and a sister, Bertha Caroline Drake.
Survivors include one son, Dewey Mason (Paula), Decatur; one daughter, Alisa Lawson (Gary), Hartselle; three brothers, James Kelly Winsett (Kae), Fort Union, Virginia, Charles Andy Adams, Ocalla, Florida, and John Adams (Kathy), Georgia; four sisters, Alica Adams Newsom, Hartselle, Fonda McCarthy (Danny), Pennsylvania, Cherie Buttons (Mike), Hartselle and Renota Smith (Lowery), Tallassee; eight grandchildren, Daton Mason, David Mason, Erika Mason, Glen Stout, Sarah Mason, Janie Henderson, Wyatt Lawson and Hunter Lawson; two great-grandchildren, Braylon Orr and Liberty Mason.
