Margaret Taylor Matlock, 75, of Russellville, passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2014, at ECM Hospital.
Mrs. Matlock was a lifelong resident of Franklin County and a member of Washington Avenue Church of Christ.
The funeral service will be Friday, November 28, 2014, at 2:00 p.m., at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel, Russellville, with burial in Knights of Pythias Cemetery. Officiating will be Jack Henson. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 11:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
Survivors include husband, Curtis Matlock; son, Jimmy Taylor (Tammy), Russellville; daughters, Donna Rigby (Tim), and Vickie Hill (Jim), both of Russellville; step-sons, Roy Matlock (Kim), Florence; Gary Matlock, Muscle Shoals; step-daughter, Barbara Baird, Muscle Shoals; grandchildren, Jennifer Whatley (Chris), Josh Mayfield (Kelly), James Hill, Rebecca Stephenson (Scott), Rachel Pastuszka (Paul), Jacob Hill, John Michael Mayfield, Olivia Taylor; step grandchildren, Trey Matlock (Molly), Heath Matlock, Mark Matlock, Matt Matlock, Ben Matlock and Tyler Rigby; great-grandchildren, Abigail Whatley, Colin Whatley, Evan Stephenson, Iain Stephenson, Caroline Matlock, Spencer Matlock and Braylen Rigby; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Josh Mayfield, John Michael Mayfield, James Hill, Jacob Hill, Trey Matlock and Chuck Kimbrough.
She was preceded in death by parents, Roy and Ruby Jackson Kimbrough; and brother, Charles Ray Kimbrough.
Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were the joys of her life. She loved everyone and never met a stranger. We will all truly miss you.
