Margaret Shirlend Posey, 74, of Hamilton, Ala., died Sunday, Aug. 26, 2012, at UAB Hosptial.
She was born Jan. 19, 1938, to Howard Lindsey and Mellie Stone.
Survivors include husband, E.J. Posey; daughters, Bonita (Alan) Schulman, Eugenia Alvis; son, Kevin Posey.
Visitation was Tuesday night from 6-9 p.m. at Hamilton First United Methodist Church. Services will be 2 p.m. today at the church, with burial in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Hamilton Funeral Home is directing.
